Application for registration is issued at the school office on the campus on payment of Rs.200. Filled-in application form should be sent to the Principal, Takshashila Residential School, Chanakyapuri, Ankushpur, R.S. Berhampur, Ganjam, Orissa with all enclosures on or before the date specified by the school. Students seeking admission in Takshashila have to qualify them by passing the written tests conducted by the panel examiners. These tests help to identify the student’s strongest area of knowledge and the area in which additional emphasis may be needed. Admission of the students depends on the decision of the selection committee, which is final and binding. Students seeking admission in Std I should complete 5 years and for Std II onwards it is 6 years and so on. (on 1st April of the year of admission).
For registration, a copy of birth certificate should be enclosed.
- Birth certificate issued by Health Department of the Local Bodies like Municipal Corporation/ Muncipality/ Gram Panchayat, and/or
A copy of relevant T.C. indicating the candidate’s date of birth, promotion details, conduct details etc. where the child was studying previously. For admission all the certificates in original should be produced. Birth certificate in original and/or T.C(TC must be countersigned by the Inspector of Schools in case of the candidates of other states) two passport size colour photographs & Mark List are to be submitted.
- Admission to Class XI both Science & Commerce stream is allowed on the basis of marks / grades obtained in the AISSE (CBSE Class-X examination or H.S.C. examination). If a candidate is selected he / she has to produce the S.L.C. (School Leaving Certificate), Mark Sheet and conduct certificate at the time of admission.
